Primero (1o) = first (ferst).
Segundo (2o) = second (sékond).
Tercero (3o) = third (terd).
Cuarto (4o) = fourth (fortz).
Quinto (5o) = fifth (fiftz).
Sexto (6o) = sixth (siktz).
Séptimo (7o) = seventh (sévantz).
Octavo (8o) = eighth (éitz).
Noveno (9o) = ninth (náintz).
Décimo (10o) = tenth (tentz).
Decimoprimero (11o) = eleventh (ilévantz).
Decimosegundo (12o) = twelfth (tuélftz).
Decimotercero (13o) = thirteenth (tértintz).

El cardinal indica el número o cantidad de los elementos de un conjunto, sea esta cantidad finita o infinita. Los números cardinales constituyen una generalización interesante del concepto de número natural permitiendo comparar la cantidad de elementos de conjuntos infinitos.
En matemáticas, un número ordinal es un número que denota la posición de un elemento perteneciente a una sucesión ordenada. Por ejemplo, en la sucesión a b c d, el elemento a es el primero, b el segundo, c el tercero, etc.

¿Qué son los numeros Ordinales?



Ahora veremos los numeros ordinales que son aquellos que son por posiciones por ej: primero, segundo, tercero, cuarto,  primeroetc.

Las letras que se colocan al lado del número es la terminación de la pronunciación del número por ej: First termina en st, entonces se le colocará la st al lado del número  es decir, l

os números ordinales en inglés se forman añadiendo -th, excepto los tres primeros de cada decena. Observa a continuación, verá como no es nada difícil.

¿Qué son los números Cardinales?


Cardinals Numbers (o números cardinales ) son números que expresan cuántos hay de algo, como uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco. Cardinals Numners( o números cardinales ) en inglés, son los mismos que en idioma español, solo varian su pronunciación y la manera como se escribe. No son más ni menos.

Responden a la pregunta "¿Cuántos?"
Ejemplo: Hay cinco monedas.

A partir del veinte, los números que le siguen son regulares: Twenty-one (veintinuno), twenty-two (veintidós)...así hasta el 30 (thirty), al que le sigue thirty-one (treintayuno), 40 (forty), 50 (fifty), 60 (sixty), 70 (seventy), 80 (eighty), 90 (ninety) y 100 (one hundred), 200, (two hundred), 300 (three hundred).....así hasta el 1000 (one thousand), 2000 (two thousand), 3000 (three thousand)...y así hasta 1 millón (one milion), 2 millones ( 2 milion)....
